FAQ
What do you mean by ‘pay $0 for your first month’?
Once you enroll, you will start studying with us for 30 days — no matter which tuition plan you choose. You won’t be charged until 30 days after the program starts, and if you don’t wish to continue, you can cancel within that first month. Meaning, you get a full month to understand if the program is right for you, without paying a cent.
You are essentially able to try our program and make sure it’s a fit — before you “buy” it.
How much does the program cost?
Our tuition options were designed to be flexible and our students have the freedom to choose a plan that’s right for them. You can choose from the following options:
Pay early, pay less. Pay the entire cost of tuition upfront with a 50% discount, a total of $10,000 CAD.
Pay as you go. Pay in monthly installments of $1000 CAD for 12 months and receive a 40% discount.
Pay once you’re hired. Pay the full cost of tuition ($20k CAD), but you don’t start to pay it until after you finish the program and are working. At that time, you will begin to make monthly payments, equal to 10% of your gross monthly salary. Here, we require a Commitment fee of $120 to help us fill our programs with the most dedicated applicants. This is the only payment required until you get hired, and as a reminder it’s billed only after the first 30 days.
How does it all work?
During the first 6-8 months (depending on your chosen field of study), you will complete core academic training, where you will learn the essential technical skills you need to succeed. You will be guided by a School Master who is an accomplished industry professional with years of experience, and a team of brilliant instructors. Afterwards, your focus shifts to finding your first job in your new field, with advanced training and our total support and career coaching until you get hired. In a matter of months, you can expect to land your new job, with a high-paying starting salary and new exciting opportunities to better your future.
How do I know the program is for me?
Our programs are 100% online and designed to be flexible, to conveniently fit the lifestyles of busy people. We offer a combination of live interactive sessions, 1:1 mentoring and self-learning content, so that you get full support while learning on your own time. Most of our students learn while working full-time, as long as they are able to dedicate about 15/hrs week to their studies. No experience or tech background is necessary, just the motivation to work hard and succeed (and a computer with a stable internet connection!) Our goal is not to simply help you learn the skills you need to get a job – it’s to help you get a job. While you will master the technical skills you need to become an attractive candidate to employers, you will also work with our team on LinkedIn/CV optimization and interview simulations and salary negotiations, and receive 1:1 career coaching and advice from industry experts to help with every aspect of your job search. We are with you until you get hired.

Online, flexible schedule
Our programs are online and designed to accommodate busy schedules, and even the occasional missed week. The programs are flexible, yet with our minimum 15 hours/week requirement, they are intensive enough to prepare students well for their new career and get them job-ready in a relatively short amount of time.
We offer extra help and private sessions with academic instructors for students who need a bit more support.

Aside from self-paced learning, coding exercises or labs, quizzes, and projects, each program offers weekly live lectures with today’s experts. Live lectures allow students to learn interactively, ask questions in real time, and study with a real class. Live sessions are always recorded and available for those who prefer learning alone or are unable to attend the session live.

Masterschool is designed with layers of support so that you never feel alone or overwhelmed. Each program offers live sessions, study halls, and active chatrooms so that you are always able to ask academic questions in real time. Throughout your time at Masterschool, you will be mentored by experienced industry experts, with regular 1:1 meetings. Our team helps you polish your resume and social profiles, highlighting your accomplishments and skills, and adding keywords recruiters are looking for and relevant to your dream job.

Mock interviews
As a candidate, you will be interviewing with both professionals who will evaluate your technical skills and HR personnel who will gauge your general fit for the company.
